Help

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the most common issues.

Students can’t see an exam

  1. Confirm the exam is Published in Org → Exams.
  2. Confirm the student is in the same organisation.
  3. Ask the student to refresh Student → My exams after publishing.

Microphone / speech recognition issues

  • Use a supported browser: Chrome or Edge works best.
  • Allow microphone permission when prompted.
  • Speak clearly and say only the letter: “A”, “B”, “C”, or “D”.
  • If speech recognition is unavailable, you can still answer by selecting options.

Text-to-speech issues

  • Make sure your device audio is on and volume is up.
  • Reload the page, then click Read question aloud again.
  • If you don’t hear a voice, your device may not have an English voice installed/enabled.

Timer & auto-submit

  • The countdown is based on the exam session expiry time; leaving the page does not stop the timer.
  • If time runs out, the platform will attempt an automatic submission.
  • If submission fails due to network, refresh and try again immediately.

Billing / plan limits

  • If you can’t create more exams, check Org → Subscription for exam usage.
  • Upgrade or renew in Org → Billing, then try creating the exam again.
